  1. Color nighttime video typically switches to black & white IR night vision when there is not sufficient ambient light to ensure optimal low-light image quality.
  2. Stated IR illumination range is based on ideal conditions in typical outdoor nighttime ambient lighting (up to 32 ft or 10 m in total darkness). Actual range and image clarity depends on installation location, viewing area and light reflection/absorption.
  3. Audio recording is disabled by default. Audio recording without consent is illegal in certain jurisdictions. Lorex Technology does not assume liability for any use of its product that fails to conform with local laws.
  4. Accuracy of Person and Vehicle Detection will be influenced by multiple factors, such as the object1s distance from the camera, the size of the object, and the height and angle of the camera. Night vision will also impact the accuracy of detection.
  5. Not intended for submersion in water. Installation in a sheltered area recommended.
  6. Controlling certain features in your security system requires a compatible smart device. Availability and performance of certain features and services are smart device dependent and may not be available in all areas or networks. "I just bought this camera. The box arrived open - all the tape seals were broken. I connected it up, and it seemed to work ok, so in installed it outside. Mounted it on a brick wall, and ran the cable through a hole to power it. All seems ok except the light will not come on, either via a motion trigger, or by toggling it on. The app says the light is on, but it simply is not. I've went to the product support page, which gives me FAQs etc, but nothing about this issue. There's a link that says something like "still need help? Contact us". The link brings me back to the main website. O further help available. I saw a link offered in someone else's review. Same issue. So I have a brand new product. . . I've gone through the trouble of installing it, caulking the power wire, running cable along the garage wall etc. , but I fear I should have paid attention to the open box. Now I think someone ok,let already had this issue and returned it. I'm very disappointed, as I had a good experience with the earlier version of this camera in the past. I'm not sure why a support page would just bring me back to the main page instead of helping me. Now I am afraid I'm stuck, and no way to get any help. I sent a message on Twitter, but no response there either."

I have just purchased additional cameras on the strength of my experience with the first. Really like the fact that they use USB leads for power as you can easily obtain leads longer than the 2m supplied. No cutting cables and extending wires this time!"

"Very easy to set up and configure. Picture quality both during the day and at night is very good. Lots of options for configuring movement detection and alerts. I didn't want the commitment of having to pay a cloud subscription but wanted the ability to be able to have several days of recording for when I was on away from home. Comes with 32GB mini SD card so I bust purchased a larger memory card for a few pounds. Didn't want to keep getting alert so for the camera at the front of my property I left this on constant recording with no alerts as there are cars and people constantly passing by, how ever all other cameras around my property are set to send alerts when they see movements. All cameras are active all the time so I can remote on to them from any where in the world an view what i happening in real time. Another nice feature is that there is a speaker/mic so when someone comes on to my property I can talk to them or just listen"
