Sales Manager

Job Summary

Lorex Technology is looking for a highly motivated, energetic, and talented Sales Manager in the UK to join our global retail sales team. This individual will lead all business activities with existing and future retail partners. The successful candidate will have a strong ability to build relationships, possess a thorough knowledge of the CE retail channels, including supply chain requirements, with exceptional communication and presentation skills. Our ideal candidate is a high performer with analytical and organizational skills who thrives in a fast-paced, ever changing work environment.


Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage business activities with existing retail partners
- Prospect, negotiate and appoint new retail & distribution partners in the UK
- Partner with current & future customers to build and launch the Lorex Brand in the UK
- History of meeting and/or exceeding revenue targets
- Become a product expert, developing a deep understanding of Lorex's product line and how we compare/compete with the competition
- Collaborate closely with cross functional partners (finance, legal, operations & marketing) at HQ
- Evaluate and report on market trends and competitive activity in UK
- Develop creative customer promotional strategies and execute with adequate lead time
- Develop product model transition planning and product life cycle management with each account

Requirements

• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years’ experience in a retail sales role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence with presentation skills.
- Knowledge of account supply chain methodology including shipping, receiving, and packaging requirements.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills with team members
- Solid understanding of retail landscape and consumer electronics industry
- Working knowledge of IoT Connected Home /Smartphone technology and Internet Remote Technology & connectivity, utilizing terms such as IP address, APPs, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive for Business
- Prior experience with Costco and Amazon a plus
